Downtown Loft: Jules & Henry

My friends Jules & Henry recently moved into a downtown loft conveniently located right next door to our own! It's polished, defined and well-thought out and a lot has to do with their appreciation of design and their seamless storytelling of a Modern backing mixed with Regency flair.

Accessories are a huge tool when putting the finishing touches on such a juxtaposition of styles:

* Who would've thought that a white porcelain antelope head could be framed perfectly by two Bauhaus art pieces?

* Like a queen sitting on her thrown in her castle, these candlestick holders placed in the foreground of a modern kitchen finishes the room without making it stuffy.

* If you have the wall height, by all means DO IT! Gallery-style seating vignettes add character to a vast space.

* I love this.
