ALoft - Brooklyn Opens

What is up with these ALoft hotels that spring up from out of nowhere?! And why haven't we, and by "we" I mean you and I in LA and NYC, heard of 'em? Well, I've sortuh kinduh heard of 'em since two years ago after staying in an ALoft in Ontario-Rancho Cucamonga. But that's the thing - we don't see 'em in densely populated cities! We see 'em popping up in suburban settings often sprinkled among the likes of housewives and those who don't know or haven't heard of a "loft."

The concept is simple: a modern lifestyle.

You'll find 'em close to airports and they have the privilege of calling themselves a W Hotel vision. It was conceived in 2005 as a "lifestyle brand" by Starwood who owns Sheraton, Westin and W Hotels.

ALoft's also have an environmental impact giving much attention to a greener and healthier approach to hotel living. You'll find lush outdoor landscaping, natural wood treatments, dispensers instead of individual bottles, and parking spots specifically designated for hybrid vehicles.

If you're ever in Brooklyn, or NYC for that matter, this good be "a loft-y" idea.
