Congratulations to the awardees of KCET's Local Heroes awards presented at the KCET studios in Hollywood last night. It was an honor to be in the same room with these distinguished individuals who apply service without the slightest hesitation. I am humbled by your actions and I carry your work with me as reminder in my everyday life.
